I made this card for my friend Lorraine who moved to Edmonton. I'll miss you!
Measurements:
1 piece of cardstock 5 1/2 X 11 1/2"
1 piece of cardstock 3" X 4 1/4"
5 pieces of coordinating cardstock; 1 piece 3 3/4" X 5", 2 pieces 3" X 4 3/8" and 2 pieces 2 1/2 X 3 3/4"
5 pieces of white cardstock; 1 piece 3 1/2 X 4 3/4", 2 pieces 2 3/4" X 4 1/4" and 2 pieces 2 1/4" X 3 1/2"
Instructions
- Score the 5 1/2" X 11 1/2" piece of cardstock at 1/4", at 3 3/4" a nd at 7 1/4"
- On the long side, score at 5/8" just as far as the last score line. Then cut on that score line to the last score line.
- Adhere the 3" X 4 1/4" cardstock to the 1/4" strip at one end of the long cardstock, even with the bottom. Snip off the remainder of the 1/4" strip to the end.
- Decorate the pieces of white cardstock as desired. I used a blender brush and odd shapes of white cardstock to create the effect of clouds. I then used various stems to create a grass effect on the bottom of each piece of white cardstock.
- I used the Hey Chick stamp set and dies with the Cut and Emboss Machine to cut out the chicks which I then stamped on the card front.
- I used the Simply Stitched label set run through the Cut and Emboss Machine to create the labels.
- I decorated the inside sections with the fence, sign, and egg and sentiments
