I created this card as a Father's Day card. It may have another name but I'm calling it a FUN FOLD POP OUT card.
Measurements:
1. For the card base, cut 1 piece of cardstock 4 1/4" X 11". I used Smokey Slate
cardstock.
2. Score at 1" and at 6 1/2" (on the short side)
3. Cut from the 1" score line to the 6 1/2" score line, 1" in from the edge on
both sides (on the long side of the cardstock). Take care not to cut all the
way to the edge. The point is to create a center panel that is still connected
to the cardstock on all sides.
4. On the two outside strips that you have just created, score at 2" (1" from the
first score line at 1". Score only on the two outside strips and not the center
panel.
5. On the center panel, score at 5 1/2". Score only on the center panel and
not on the two outside strips.
6. Cut 3 pieces of coordinating cardstock; 1 piece 2 3/16" X 4 3/8", 2 pieces
7/8" X 4 3/8". I used Basic Gray.
7. Cut 3 pieces of Designer Series Paper (DSP); 1 piece 2 1/8 X 4 5/16", 2 pieces
6/8" X 4 3/8". I used In Good Taste.
8. Cut 1 piece of white cardstock 4" X 4 3/8" for inside and 1 piece 3/4" X 3" for
the bottom front sentiment. I made this sentiment with a stamp from Pansy
Patch.
9. I made the Happy Father's Day sentiment using Word Wishes dies which I
adhered to white cardstock, layered on basic gray cardstock, both cut out
using Stitched Nested Label dies.
